School Programs

Be a Hero...Not a Zero

Austin County currently has 3 High School Crime Stoppers Programs.  These programs work the same way that our Crime Stoppers Program Works.

Each Campus has a Board of Directors.  The Board consists of student members.  The program has a sponsor in charge of the program to guide the members in parliamentary procedure.  The Board of Directors meet once a month to determine if any tip money is paid.

THE BOARD IS GIVEN THE SITUATION AND DECIDES THE AMOUNT OF TIP MONEY ONLY.  THE BOARD IS NEVER GIVEN ANY INFORMATION ON WHO DID THE PARTICULAR CRIME OR WHO HAS BEEN CHARGED!!
